Personal History
Raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Kareen moved to Palm Coast during the winter of 2020 shortly after graduating from law school that same year. Kareen has actively worked to improve his skills and knowledge in preparation for a new legal career. Before law school, Kareen conducted research for a local Philadelphia startup, an internationally recognized think tank, and multiple professors at the University of Pennsylvania across a wide variety of legal and political science topics.
While in law school, Kareen spent his first summer as an intern for a magistrate judge at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, where he observed litigation firsthand and helped draft rulings in habeas corpus and SSI disability cases. During his second-year spring semester and summer of law school, Kareen interned at the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of the Solicitor, where he engaged in different areas of employment law.
Kareen joined Chiumento Law as a law clerk in November 2021, where he assisted the real estate, civil litigation, and estate planning and probate departments. During this time, Kareen studied and passed the February 2022 Florida Bar examination and was admitted to practice law in the State of Florida in May 2022. Kareen is excited to continue developing his legal career in Flagler County and to engage further with the local community.
Kareen is a fluent Russian speaker.
